Know Us Better

About Us

Hey there! It's nice to meet you.

What do we do?

We help Generation Z young adults navigate their entry into the workforce, and establish a career path unique to their passions, skills, and goals. Our Academy members receive soft-skills training, access to professional mentors, and personalized leadership development programs.

Why Gen Z?

Generation Z (born between 1997 and 2015) has become the largest generation – making up 32% of the global population. More teens between the ages of 16 and 18 are going straight into the workforce, opting out of the traditional route of higher education. According to Concordia University, Gen Z is expected to cause an influx of roughly 60 million job seekers in the next decade.

Who are we?

The Gen Z Academy team is made up of a diverse group of people who all share a passion for entrepreneurship and personal development. We are all in different stages of our professional and personal journeys, and we want to share our experiences and advice with you.

Our team would love to meet you, so, whether you have questions, or just want to chat, reach out and we’ll be in touch! Contact Us

Brandon L. Griffin

Founder, Managing Director

Our Founder, Brandon L. Griffin, knows first hand what it’s like to try to navigate your career as a young professional. At 10 years old, Brandon started a desktop publishing business, and at 12 a website design business, in his parent’s basement. Within a few years, those early beginnings led him to publishing a national entrepreneurship magazine for high school students, and starting the first Certified Minority-Owned social media marketing firm in the State of Indiana.

Now, Brandon is a Client Success Manager on USA TODAY NETWORK’s first team ever dedicated to national brand support for print and digital advertising services in the United States and United Kingdom. He is known as the Gen Z Life Coach, and is on a personal mission to share what his journey has taught him to help young adults get a head start on their career.
